I am Dan Radzik, owner of Lonely Grey Rescue. I am an avid bird and parrot lover. I have experience with several different species of parrots and birds alike. My knowledge base is deeply rooted in Macaws, Cockatoos and African Greys.
Through both research and experience I have developed a very unique process for working with birds/parrots. I, along with my volunteers will work with any and all species of parrot or bird, never accepting that, "they are too far gone," to become loving members of a family. With new parrots being neglected, abused, ignored and just plain forgotten about daily, I decided it was time for a change.
I founded this rescue more than 10 years ago and have devoted myself to making sure all parrot families have the resources they need.
Ghandi said," The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." We, along with some of our fellow avian rescues, are now, and will continue to be, battling for our feathered friends both large and small.
